Somber, Weary, Resolute
— Personality In Three WordsBetween his lack of words, dour expressions and staggering height, Branson can easily come off as being far more intimidating than he may even intend to! To some extent, he actually uses this to his advantage if the situation calls for such, however. He is the strong arm of the trio; though musically focused, he is still the only member of the group who has any training in the form of combat.He sees the world through whatever the opposite of rose colored glasses is, transforming his dreariness into song. Though, despite regarding the world around him in shades of gloom, he willingly plays the part of bodyguard for Mina. Her sunny demeanor casts a light into the shadows of his mind, reminding him that the world is not all that bad.

Brief History (WIP)

Branson was born in Burmecia. He has an older brother. He grew up with his mother, father and older brother. Burmecians, inherently raised in the way of war, praise the great warriors among their kind. Branson was never one to truly take to violence, however; he instead took to music.Between this and feeling as if he perpetually lived in the shadow of his more "prized" brother, it was no wonder Branson ran away from home in his mid teens. He eventually made his way to Lindblum, where he and Lorien encountered one another through official stage performance.They initially compete with one another before they realized their competition brought in plenty of coin. They eventually surmised that they would do well as a duo; enhancing both their performances and their income.

  • Though Branson is rather skilled with the lute as well as guitar, when it comes to chords, they most always have to be simplified due to him having four digits vs. five.

  • "An Liath" is Gaelic for "The Gray." It is a name that has been passed down for many generations in Branson's family. There is even a clear favoritism towards male offspring, who are raised and nurtured in hopes that they will marry and carry on the family name.

  • Like many of Lindblum's star bound citizens, Branson is well-enough versed in Tetra Master. However, he doesn't really find any interest in it.
